Tamilnadu District Court Exam Syllabus 2024 in English. The Notification released on 28th April by the Judicial Recruitment Cell of Madras High Court regarding the recruitment of various posts in the subordinate judicial service in the districts of Tamilnadu. The syllabus, mark segregation and other details of the recruitment has given below.

Exam Section:
The examination for the candidates will be conducted in 2 sections. The first section is Common Written Examination and the second part is the VIVA-VOCE (Oral Test). For required posts, there will be a Skill Test.
Written Exam Syllabus:
The first section will be the written test. The date, time and details of this exam will be announced in the coming days.
Exam Details:
Common Written Examination, VIVA-VOCE & required practical exam everything included, will be for total of 200 marks.
For the Posts like Examiner, Reader, Senior Bailiff & Junior Bailiff / Process Server, Process Writer & Xerox operator.
Written Exam – 170 marks
VIVA – VOCE – 30 marks
For all other posts,
Written Exam – 100 marks
Skill Test – 70 marks
VIVA – VOCE – 30 marks
Segregated as above, the exam will be for a total of 200 marks.

General Tamil – 50 Marks (Tamil Nadu Government Syllabus upto Class 10th/SSLC).
General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability – 120 Marks

The syllabus includes, Current affairs, General Science, History, Indian National Movement, Indian Polity, Simplification, Highest Common Factor & Lowest Common Multiple (HCF & LCM), Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Area, Volume, Time & Work, Logical Reasoning, Puzzles, Dice, Visual Reasoning, Alpha Numeric Reasoning, Number Series. Everything upto SSLC/10th Standard as per Tamil Nadu State Government syllabus.
Exam Duration – 3 hours.
The syllabus for 100 marks Written Examination,
General Tamil – 50 Marks (Tamil Nadu Government Syllabus upto Class 10th/SSLC).
General knowledge – 50 marks.
This Syllabus includes Current affairs, basic arithmetic abilities, knowledge in housekeeping, food production, gardening skills, water conservation, basic principles of guarding house/office.
Exam Duration – 2 hours.
In this Common Written Examination, physically challenged candidates can choose General English instead of General Tamil. (General English up to 10th and 8th standard Tamil Nadu Government Syllabus).
Minimum Qualifying Marks;
General Tamil (50) – 20 marks
Aptitude, General Studies, and Mental Ability (120) – 48 Marks
General knowledge (50) – 20 marks.
